Technology

Our attorneys protect technological innovators, leaders, and disrupters at all stages, including research and development (R&D), product-licensing contracts and confidentiality agreements, and bringing products to market.

Overview

Protecting technological innovation through procuring intellectual property rights and enforcing those rights has become increasingly complex. In addition to leading knowledge of industry laws and regulations, our team offers direct experience with both procurement and enforcement in mechanical, electrical, and advanced engineering and manufacturing; open-source and proprietary software development and programming; semiconductors, electronics, and related components; cybersecurity; and more. We focus on securing and defending tangible and intangible assets, including software and hardware, formulas, concepts, and designs. Our attorneys protect technological innovators, leaders, and disrupters at all stages, including research and development (R&D), product-licensing contracts and confidentiality agreements, and bringing products to market.

Through strategic relationships, we’re also preparing for the legal impacts on businesses and individuals resulting from emergent technologies, including the widespread application of nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, and other digital-era challenges such as compounding cybersecurity issues.
