Intellectual Property Litigation
Barclay Damon's Intellectual Property Litigation practice is based on two fundamental tenets. First, our clients are entitled to a level playing field in the marketplace, and thus their intellectual property rights must be respected and their freedom to operate must not be unfairly interfered with. Second, in securing that level playing field, our clients deserve aggressive legal representation that is singularly focused on the their business objectives.
Our team works seamlessly together within three areas primary of focus: patent litigation, patent office proceedings and trademark litigation. We have significant academic training and practical experience in a wide range of engineering and scientific disciplines, and within our areas of focus we have extensive trial experience in district courts, at the International Trade Commission, at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. We also have extensive experience protecting our client’s interests before Customs and Border Protection, as well as counseling clients on their freedom to operate within particular areas.
