Barclay Damon Launches Cybersecurity Podcast Series—Barclay Damon Live: Cyber Sip

December 8, 2021—Barclay Damon has launched Cyber Sip, its second podcast series under the Barclay Damon Live umbrella. Kevin Szczepanski, co-leader of the firm’s Cybersecurity Team, hosts the podcast, which has biweekly episodes covering hot topics in the cybersecurity industry, including:

  • Responding to data breaches, ransomware attacks, and other cyber incidents
  • Regulatory investigations
  • Privacy litigation
  • Cyber insurance coverage
  • Best practices for managing cyber and data-privacy risks

Offering listeners practical tips on improving their organization’s cybersecurity, Cyber Sip will explore this critical topic in a variety of industries, including health care, finance, insurance, labor and employment, and real estate. Guests will include industry thought leaders. Cyber Sip is available on Barclay Damon’s website, YouTube, LinkedIn, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts.

“I’m thrilled that we’re launching Cyber Sip on Barclay Damon Live,” Szczepanski said. My passion for cybersecurity is what drove my desire to have Barclay Damon start this podcast,” said Szczepanski. “When I first started out in the industry, I found the barriers to entry to be formidable. I wanted to change that for others, and Cyber Sip seemed like the perfect way to share what we know and help others bridge the gap.”

Connie Cahill, the firm’s managing partner, said, “Barclay Damon has a robust Cybersecurity Team, ably co-led by Kevin, Nick DiCesare, and Charles Nerko. Kevin’s deep knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and approachable demeanor make him an ideal podcast host. Cyber Sip’s listeners are sure to enjoy hearing his perspectives on current issues in the cybersecurity space as well as hearing the expertise of the guests. With more of the country’s workforce working remotely, it’s especially important to educate people on how to protect their data and the data of the organizations they work for.”

Barclay Damon plans to launch a labor and employment podcast under the Barclay Damon Live umbrella in the coming weeks.
