Laluk to Speak on Succession Planning at Rochester Event

Rochester, New York - February 27, 2014 - Hiscock & Barclay, LLP Partner Susan Schultz Laluk will be one of three professionals discussing succession planning for small businesses Feb. 25 in Rochester.

"Decision Makers' Forum – Succession Planning: It's Never Too Early to Get Started," will begin with networking at 5 p.m., dinner at 5:45 p.m. and a panel discussion starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Midvale Country Club in Penfield. Speakers will be available for one-on-one discussions afterward.

Topics to be covered include: factors to consider when preparing to sell a business, getting proper valuation for your business, tax strategies, preparing needed legal documents, considerations when selling to family, managing wealth after the sale, and how to select the right legal, financial and accounting advisors.

The event is $30 for members of the Small Business Council of Rochester and $45 for non-members. More information and registration is available online.

Laluk will be joined on the panel by Susan Acker of Merrill Lynch and Kristen Coffey, Senior Manager, Business Valuation Services, Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co.
