Hiscock & Barclay Partner Sheila Gaddis Appointed to Board of New York Bar Foundation
Hiscock & Barclay, LLP Partner Sheila A. Gaddis has been recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the New York Bar Foundation. The New York Bar Foundation receives charitable contributions and provides grants to financially support law-related programs of legal services organizations, nonprofits and bar associations throughout New York State.
Gaddis, a resident of Brighton and a Partner in the Firm’s Rochester office, focuses her practice on Healthcare & Human services including nonprofit law and administration. A graduate of Seton Hall University College of Law, Gaddis also fulfills the role of Diversity Partner of the Firm, by acting as Chair of the Diversity Partner Committee. This Committee advises the Firm on issues related to the attraction and retention of individuals with diverse backgrounds. Gaddis is deeply involved in civic activities in her community and has garnered multiple awards for her civic successes. Most recently, Gaddis was the recipient of the Urban League of Rochester Community Leadership Award for Outstanding Volunteer in 2009.
