Hiscock & Barclay Attorneys Susan Schultz Laluk and Scott Rogoff Discuss Legal Changes Affecting HR Policies
Hiscock & Barclay, LLP Partners Susan Schultz Laluk and Scott Rogoff were featured presenters at the “Employment Law Update” seminar sponsored by the Job Service Employer Committee (JSEC) of Monroe County on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Laluk and Rogoff teamed up to speak to the 100+ attendees, mostly human resource managers or small business owners, on topics including social media in the workplace, avoiding employee misclassification, and recent supreme court decisions that could affect them.
Laluk assists employers with compliance, termination and discrimination issues, and executive level employees with employment, compensation and severance agreements. She is Immediate Past-President of the Monroe County Bar Association.
Rogoff is a civil litigator with extensive experience representing employers regarding day-to-day employment matters and regularly litigates claims before the New York State Division of Human Rights, Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and in state and federal courts.
