Attorney Melissa Zambri To Discuss Medical Records Laws in Latham
Albany, New York - August 5, 2013 - Hiscock & Barclay, LLP Partner Melissa Zambri will discuss medical records laws at a seminar Aug. 15 in Latham.
The one-day seminar will include information on confidentiality, disclosure, documentation requirements, HIPAA rules and how to deal with and prevent security breaches as well as how to handle medical records disclosures. The seminar is designed for medical records directors, health information directors, business managers, office managers, nurses, hospital administrators, compliance directors and release of records professionals.
Zambri, of the firm’s Albany office, focuses her practice on enterprise development and regulatory guidance for the health care industry. Her past work has included serving as a general counsel for a 200-bed hospital. She regularly provides compliance and management training.
