Connie Cahill is quoted in an article in the Albany Business Review titled “Home Office as Law Office.” And Law.com quotes her in “Law.com Trendspotter: Transitioning to Remote Work Was Tough—but Transitioning Back Could Be Even Tougher.” One more on this topic: American Lawyer Media featured Connie in “Remote Working Policies and Growth Become Key Discussions at Barclay Damon.”

Katie Markert co-presented a webinar for the Monroe County Bar Association titled “The Nuts and Bolts of an IP Licensing Agreement.”

Linda Clark was a guest on “The Business of Pharmacy Podcast.” The episode is “After Rutledge: What’s Next?”

Aleece Burgio was interviewed for a Buffalo Business First story, “Could This Be the Year? Here’s How New York State’s Cannabis Legislation Is Shaping Up,” which WGRZ-TV also shared on its website. Buffalo Business First also interviewed her for “Attorney Aleece Burgio Lays Down the (Cannabis) Law.”

For the NYS Unified Court System Judicial Institute, Jen Flannery gave a talk called “Marital Agreements in the Surrogate’s Court.”

WBEN-AM interviewed Aleece Burgio for “Cannabis Regulations Will Be Similar to Alcohol for Businesses” and “Weeding Through What-Ifs Regarding Legalizing Marijuana.”

Fran Ciardullo and Mary Connolly co-authored “Can Your Habits Save You From Malpractice Liability?” for the New York Medical Group Management Association’s newsletter.

Penny Mason has been the general editor of the LexisNexis Practice Guide Connecticut Civil Pretrial Practice since 2016. The 2020 edition just came out. 

Last but not least, our recent Barclay Damon Women’s Forum internal virtual retreat was a resounding success. Organized by co-chairs Carol Snider and Courtney Merriman, the event was kicked off by a welcome from Courtney and Connie Cahill, and Rosanna Berardi gave the keynote address, covering business development, personal marketing, time management, and work-life balance. That was followed by a business development–themed marketing panel, moderated by Linda Clark and featuring Lauren Wachtler, Lizz Acee, Liz Cominolli, Jen Flannery, Melissa Zambri, and Alexandra Lugo. Breakout and networking sessions were moderated by Sharon Brown, Dena DeFazio, Margaret Surowka, Marcy Robinson Dembs, Meghan Dwyer, Jen Leonardi, Ekin Senlet, Carolyn Marcotte Crowley, Brittany Lawrence, Danielle Mettler-LaFeir, Kayla Arias, Gabrielle Figueroa, Patty Naughton, Alexandra, Lauren, Carol, and Courtney.
