May 24, 2018—Barclay Damon announces the arrival of Harry T. Daniels, of counsel, to the firm's Boston office. Daniels is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Labor & Employment Practice Areas.
Prior to Barclay Damon, Daniels practiced for 40 years at WilmerHale, where he was assistant managing partner, litigation department vice-chair, and an executive committee member. Daniels was the first person of African descent to be named partner in a major Boston firm.
Daniels focuses his practice on complex business litigation matters, including contract disputes, trade secrets, confidential information and covenants not to compete, product liability, partnership disputes, wrongful termination, and employment discrimination.
He has held significant roles in the Boston legal community including, among others, Massachusetts Commission on Judicial Conduct chairman; Board of Bar Overseers of the Supreme Judicial Court member; Boston Bar Association Senior Lawyers Section co-chair; Northeastern University School of Law adjunct; and Harvard Law School trial advocacy workshops faculty member.
