Barclay Damon Announces 2025 Changes to Firm's Leadership Team

Barclay Damon announces the following changes to the firm’s leadership team:

  • Andy Oppenheimer, Tax Practice Area co-chair and a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Area and Canada-US Cross-Border Team, will join Jeff Dove as co-leader of the Business Services Practice Group. 
  • Zach Forward, a member of the firm’s Corporate and Tax Practice Areas and Cannabis Team, will join Mike Moore as co-chair of the Corporate Practice Area. He takes over the role from Jim Canfield.
  • Meghan Dwyer, a member of the firm’s Mass & Toxic Torts and Torts & Products Liability Defense Practice Areas, will join Carol Snider as co-chair of the Mass & Toxic Torts Practice Area. 
  • Deb Peckham, a member of the firm’s Trademarks, Copyrights & Licensing, Intellectual Property Litigation, Data Security & Technology, and Patents & Prosecution Practice Areas, will join Mike Oropallo as co-chair of the Trademarks, Copyrights & Licensing Practice Area. 
  • Matt Moses, a member of the firm’s Project Development and Property Tax & Condemnation Practice Areas and Energy and Renewable Energy Teams, will join Jeff Davis and Kevin McAuliffe as co-chair of the Project Development Practice Area.
  • Rosemary Enright, Labor & Employment Practice Group leader and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Area and Higher Education and Canada-US Cross-Border Teams, will join Gust Pullman as co-leader of the Canada-US Cross-Border Team. She takes over the role from Rich Day.
  • Melissa Bennett, Public Finance Practice Area co-chair, will join the firm’s Billing Committee as the Albany office representative.
  • Joe Porcello, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials, Intellectual Property Litigation, and Insurance Coverage & Regulation Practice Areas, will join the Diversity Partner Committee as co-diversity partner in Barclay Damon’s Syracuse office with Zach Forward.
  • Rachelle Nuhfer, a member of the firm’s Trusts & Estates and Corporate Practice Areas, joins Meghan Dwyer and Sanjeev Devabhakthuni as co-partner of the Summer Associate Program.
  • Buster Melvin, co-chair of the Higher Education Team and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Area, will serve as chair of the Associate Integration Committee.
  • Jenna Cutler, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials and Labor & Employment Practice Areas, will join the Associate Integration Committee. She takes over the role from Benjamin Zakarin.
  • Scott Fleischer, a member of the firm’s Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights and Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials Practice Areas and Hotels, Hospitality & Food Service Team, will join Ilan Markus on the Associates Committee as co-representative for the firm’s major market offices in Boston, New Haven, New York City, and Washington DC.
  • Bridget Steele, a member of the firm’s Health & Human Services Providers and Health Care Controversies Teams and Data Security & Technology Practice Area, will serve as chair of the Next Generation Committee. She takes over the role from Ari Kwiatkowski.
  • Andrew Carroll, a member of the firm’s Mass & Toxic Torts and Torts & Products Liability Defense Practice Areas, will join the Next Generation Committee as the Buffalo office representative. He takes over the role from Ari Kwiatkowski.
  • Brienna Braman, a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment, Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials, and Torts & Products Liability Defense Practice Areas and Health Care Controversies Team, will join the Next Generation Committee as the Albany office representative. She takes over the role from Amanda Fitzgerald.
  • Kayla Arias, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials Practice Area, will join the Next Generation Committee as the Syracuse office representative. She takes over the role from Ross Greenky.
  • Jamie Dughi Hogenkamp, a member of the firm’s Health & Human Services Providers Team and Corporate Practice Area, will join Carolyn Marcotte Crowley as coordinator for the Helping Attorneys and Their Children (HATCH) program. The HATCH program provides enhanced support to new parents regarding their parental leave.
  • Robert Barrer, chief ethics and risk management partner and a member of the firm’s Professional Liability, Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials, and Torts & Products Liability Defense Practice Areas, will join the AI Ad Hoc Committee. 
  • Kelley Halliburton, a member of the firm’s Power & Energy Construction, Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials, and Construction & Surety Practice Areas and Energy Team, will join the AI Ad Hoc Committee.
  • David Otte has been promoted from deputy chief operating officer to chief operating officer.
