URMIA Boston 2019: University Concussion Injury Litigation and Improving Your Prevention Protocols

Tom Cronmiller, Professional Liability Practice Area chair, will present "University Concussion Injury Litigation and Improving Your Prevention Protocols" with Michaele DeHart, Syracuse University risk management director, at the URMIA Boston 2019 Conference on Thursday, September 19 from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.

The presentation will focus on legal and ethical duties related to supervision, evaluation, treatment, and monitoring in the administration of college athletics programs; recognizing risk management opportunities to improve safety for student athletes suspected of or sustaining concussive injuries; and collaborative obligations of notification, warning, and information disclosure pertaining to the effects of concussive injuries.
