With over 25 years of experience in the field of zoning and urban and community planning, Heather brings a significant background in working with development projects, zoning and land use rules and regulations, and the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) to Barclay Damon’s Project Development Practice Area.
Heather’s prior roles with a regional planning agency have equipped her with extensive knowledge of and establishing working relationships with local government officials, community groups and other stakeholders, design professionals, attorneys, and applicants. While in those roles, she worked with project applicants in identifying regulatory challenges and finding result-oriented outcomes beneficial to all involved. She also has experience with mapping and aerial photography tools in evaluating land use implications of proposed projects. Throughout her time in government, Heather also developed proficiency in coordinating all levels of local and state municipal reviews for development projects to ensure efficient and timely resolutions.
