Syracuse, New York - March 27, 2013 - John P. Sindoni, senior partner at Hiscock & Barclay, has joined the board of Onondaga Community College.
Sindoni, part of Hiscock & Barclay's Financial Services practice group, has been practicing law for more than 40 years, including extensive experience in real estate. He served as chair of the Real Estate Practice Area for Hiscock & Barclay for more than 20 years.
He has represented institutional mortgage lenders, industrial development agencies, businesses, and charities. He has developed an extensive client base in Central New York, representing businesses as well as individuals in a wide array of matters including estate planning and wealth management of high net-worth individuals.
Sindoni was on the Onondaga Community College Foundation's Board of Trustees from 2004-2010. He has served on the board of numerous other organizations including Catholic Charities, Christian Brothers Academy, Christopher Community, Eldercare Foundation, Woodlawn Cemetery, and has been a member of the Development Committee for On Point for College. He is also a Knights of Malta.
Sindoni, sworn in to the OCC board this morning, was appointed to the board by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
