John Cook Elected President of Le Moyne College's Alumni Association Board

July 19, 2017 "” Barclay Damon LLP announces John D. Cook has been elected president of the Le Moyne College Alumni Association Board. The board oversees the operation of the Alumni Association, which is comprised of more than 26,000 undergraduate and 3,000 graduate alumni of Le Moyne. The board advises on matters relating to the Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement, Le Moyne alumni, and the college at large. Its mission is to strengthen the bonds of loyalty and friendship among alumni and the college, cultivate and sustain alumni interest in and understanding of the college's objectives, programs, and activities, and provide for and encourage support from alumni for the college.

Cook, a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation and Commercial Litigation Practice Areas, graduated from Le Moyne in 1995. He has served on the board since 2009 in a variety of capacities, including vice-president and chair of the Membership and Governance Committee.

Le Moyne is a Jesuit college located in Syracuse, New York, enrolling over 3,500 undergraduate and graduate students. Founded in 1946, Le Moyne is the second youngest of the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States, and the first Jesuit college to be founded as a co-educational institution.
