Hiscock & Barclay's Melissa Zambri Appointed to Committee on Character and Fitness

Albany, New York – November 21, 2014 – Hiscock & Barclay, LLP partner Melissa M. Zambri has been appointed to serve as a member of the State of New York Supreme Court's Committee on Character and Fitness of the Appellate Division, Third Department for a five-year term.

The Committee on Character and Fitness is responsible for evaluating the character and fitness of persons seeking admission to the New York State Bar. The Committee is comprised of practicing attorneys appointed by the Court.

Zambri is Chair of the firm's Health Care & Human Services Practice Area and focuses her practice on enterprise development and regulatory guidance for the health care industry. She assists various health care clients with certificate of need applications, transactions, contracting, compliance programs, audits, investigations and self-disclosures, HIPAA compliance and licensure issues.
