Hiscock & Barclay Lawyer Speaks on Harvard Law School Panel

Hiscock & Barclay, LLP Partner, Michael J. Grygiel, spoke at Harvard Law School's "Journalism's Digital Transition" on April 9, as part of a panel discussion that focused on how media companies should react to news aggregators such as Google News.

Grygiel, Chair of the Firm's Media & First Amendment Law Practice Area, concentrates his practice in defending media clients from newsgathering and publication related claims, including defamation, copyright infringement, and invasion of privacy matters. Grygiel has successfully represented the press in cases involving applications for access to civil and criminal court proceedings and records, and also has experience with freedom of information law cases in both federal and state courts. Grygiel is also Chair of the New York State Bar Association's Committee on Media Law.
