Syracuse, New York - November 11, 2013 - Hiscock & Barclay, LLP Attorneys Yvonne E. Hennessey and Danielle E. Mettler will speak on the opening morning of the Independent Oil & Gas Association of New York's annual meeting November 6 in Buffalo.
Hennessey and Mettler will discuss "Aggregation of Air Emissions – What Does Adjacency Really Mean?" The topic is an important one as companies seeking to permit oil and gas facilities have to adjust to changing definitions, inconsistent regulatory interpretations and court rulings that seek to define what "adjacent" means for the oil and gas industry, which in turn dictate the type of permitting required.
Hennessey, a Partner in Hiscock & Barclay's Albany office, is Co-Leader of the firm's Oil & Gas Team. She represents clients in the oil and gas sector on a broad range of issues involving shale development including legislation, permitting, project siting and other matters. She is the leading contributor to "Energy Matters," Hiscock & Barclay's blog about the energy industry.
Mettler, an Associate in Hiscock & Barclay's Rochester office, is part of the firm's Environmental Practice Area.
