Don Twietmeyer is Named as a Partner at Hiscock & Barclay, LLP

Hiscock & Barclay, LLP announces that Don H. Twietmeyer has been named a partner to the Firm. Twietmeyer is a resident of Fairport, N.Y., and practices out of the firm's Rochester, N.Y. office. Twietmeyer is a member of the Trusts and Estates and Tax Practice Areas and resides in the Firm's Rochester office.

As a Certified Public Accountant and attorney with over 30 years of experience, which includes honors from Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers listings, Twietmeyer focuses his practice on estate and trust administration as well as estate planning for individuals and businesses. He also consults on new business formation, development, continuation and dissolution for both for-profit and not-for-profit corporations. He has represented taxpayers before the Collection and Appeals Division of the IRS and the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. He is a frequent speaker on tax and estate planning topics and sits on the board of directors for several Rochester area charitable organizations, including the Rochester General Hospital Foundation, the Foundation of the Monroe County Bar and the Rochester Rotary Club.

Twietmeyer is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University and the State University of New York at Buffalo. In addition, he has obtained degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology (M.B.A.) and University of Miami School of Law (LL.M.). Twietmeyer joined the Firm in February 1998 and previously worked in other law firms as well as in the tax department of a certified public accounting firm.
