Syracuse, New York - February 18, 2014 - Hiscock & Barclay, LLP announces the promotion of attorneys Nicholas J. DiCesare and John Kelepurovski, Jr. to the position of Partner.
DiCesare, a resident of Orchard Park, is a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation, Labor & Employment and Real Property Tax & Condemnation practice areas. A summa cum laude graduate of Canisius College and magna cum laude graduate of SUNY Buffalo Law School, he works in the firm's Buffalo office.
DiCesare handles a wide range of litigation matters, with emphasis on complex commercial matters, employment related claims, and personal injury/professional malpractice cases. He represents a variety of large and small businesses (including investment/ownership groups, retail businesses, and construction companies) as well as municipalities and individuals in litigating contractual disputes, employment matters, and various other business relation/governance matters. He has also represented large commercial enterprises and municipalities in tax assessment litigation as well as property owners, businesses, and various professionals in relation to negligence claims.
Kelepurovski, a resident of Clay, is a member of the firm's Corporate, Health Care & Humans Services, Telecommunications and Lobbying & Election Law Compliance practice areas. He graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Binghamton and from Syracuse University College of Law. Kelepurvoski works in the firm's Syracuse office.
Kelepurovski has extensive experience handling business transactions including entity formations, acquisitions and mergers, restructurings and dissolutions and drafting and negotiating agreements. He has formed, represented and advised numerous not-for-profit corporations on corporate governance and tax-exemption issues on a pro bono basis.
