SYRACUSE, NY "” May 4, 2016 "” Anne B. Dotzler, Esq., an associate at the law firm Barclay Damon, LLP, is the recipient of the inaugural Outstanding Service Award, presented by the Onondaga County Bar Association (OCBA).
The Outstanding Services Award recognizes an OCBA member whose service to the legal profession contributes to the welfare of the bar association and its members. Ms. Dotzler received the award at the OCBA's Law Day Breakfast, May 3.
Ms. Dotzler first became involved with the OCBA as an intern in 2000. After graduating from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2007, she joined the OCBA and was elected to the board of directors in 2011. Since that time, Ms. Dotzler has served as chair of the OCBA's Law Week Committee, chair of the OCBA Annual Dinner Committee, a member the OCBA's Executive and Finance Committees, a member of the Bar Reporter editorial board, and a member of the OCBA Trial Lawyers Section and Young Lawyers Section. She is also a founding member of the OCBA's Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
The OCBA notes that Ms. Dotzler "receives this award by unanimous nomination for what she has given to the bar association in the past and for what her future leadership potential promises for our profession and the legal community."
A member of Barclay Damon's Labor & Employment Practice Area, Ms. Dotzler represents employers and their management in a wide array of matters, from day-to-day counseling to complex litigation.
