Joe Porcello, partner, was featured in the Law360 article “Ex-Bousquet Holstein Litigator Joins Barclay Damon in NY” about his motivations for joining the firm and his previous experience as a litigator.
About joining the firm, the article states, “[Joe] said he decided to join Barclay Damon because of the firm’s strong platform in Toronto and the Northeast, as well as the culture, which he described as friendly and dedicated to providing excellent client service.”
Joe added, “As a commercial and IP litigator, Barclay Damon’s sophisticated practices in those areas are an ideal fit for me and offer many opportunities to delivery additional value to my clients. I am very excited to have joined Barclay Damon.”
Connie Cahill, managing partner, was also quoted in the article. About Barclay Damon’s motivations for hiring Joe, she said, “Joe’s broad and sophisticated background in the commercial litigation space—especially his experience with resolving complex business disputes for clients in a wide range of industries—made him an undeniably attractive candidate and was the impetus for adding him as a partner.” She continued, “Joe coming to Barclay Damon also allows us to expand our reach not only in the Syracuse market but throughout our office platform.”
The article notes that prior to joining Barclay Damon, Joe was a member at Syracuse-based firm Bousquet Holstein PLLC. He worked as counsel at K&L Gates for 11 years prior to joining Bousquet Holstein.
