Connie Cahill Interviewed on Succession Planning for Law360 Pulse

Connie Cahill, managing partner, was interviewed for the Law360 Pulse article “Mid-Law Leaders on How to Do Succession Planning Right” about midsize law firms that have effectively tackled succession planning. Connie noted her three-year tenure as deputy managing partner that prepared her to transition to her role as managing partner. The article said:

“I contacted my equity partners and asked for their support, since we had an open election. I threw my hat in the ring, and a little more than three years ago, I was elected deputy managing partner. During the time I was shadowing John, we also figured out what things we wanted him to do as chair, coming up with a list of duties that played to his strengths. By the time January 2021 arrived, it was almost anticlimactic. Everyone was ready to go, and it was a really easy transition.”
