Cathy Wettlaufer Receives Guardianship Award From ECBA Volunteer Lawyers Project

Cathy Wettlaufer, partner, has received the Guardianship Award from the Erie County Bar Association (ECBA) Volunteer Lawyers Project. This award recognizes Cathy’s unwavering dedication and impactful service, which have transformed countless lives and exemplify the spirit of justice and equality. Since 2014, Cathy has assisted VLP clients with will preparation and other end-of-life planning issues, and for the past few years, she has also acted as the pro bono court evaluator for incapacitated individuals in Article 81 proceedings.

Cathy and the other award recipients were recognized at the Champions for Justice Bash & Award Ceremony hosted by the ECBA Volunteer Lawyers Project on November 21, 2024.
