Brian Rich and Tony Gangemi Profiled as Finalists for 2024 New England Legal Awards

Brian Rich and Tony Gangemi, both partners in Barclay Damon’s New Haven office, were profiled by Law.com and Connecticut Law Tribune as part of their selection as finalists for this year’s New England Legal Awards. Winners will be announced in finalist categories and all honorees will be recognized at an awards dinner on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.

Brian is one of two finalists in the Banking and Finance Attorney of the Year category. About the accomplishments he’s most proud of from the past year, Brian said, “I’m proud of the continuing partnership I have with my clients, which has afforded me the ability to be whatever version of the lawyer they need: a litigator who fights for them, and counselor who advises them, and a sounding board who listens to them. Most of the time, it’s a combination of all three; however, the emphasis on any of the three in particular changes and is often what makes the practice of law so fun. Tony is one of seven finalists in the Intellectual Property of the Year category. About how he sees IP law growing and changing in the coming years, Tony said, “The overall volume of work is likely to increase as creators utilize artificial intelligence to develop inventions and creations much more quickly. That additional volume will provide more work and growth for all IP attorneys and firms, regardless of size. This will also likely lead to more litigation and more development in IP law.” Subscribers can read Tony’s full profile here
