Aleece Burgio and Chris Harrigan Featured on PeopleWork Episode

Aleece Burgio, Cannabis Team leader, and Chris Harrigan, partner, were featured on PeopleWork, Complete Payroll’s video series that interviews accomplished professionals from across the human capital management spectrum, in the episode “Marijuana Regulation & Taxation Act” about how the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA) will impact employers and employees. 

With host Joe Peluso, marketing coordinator at Complete Payroll, Aleece and Chris discuss a variety of topics, including what sets the MRTA apart from other states’ marijuana legalization laws, how the MRTA affects businesses, how employer rules about marijuana use compare to those regarding alcohol, what employers should be doing right now to adapt and comply, and some major considerations for businesses looking to enter and operate in the cannabis space.
