Jason Klimek Featured in WXXI News Connections With Evan Dawson Episode About New York State's CAURD Licenses

Jason Klimek, Cannabis Team co-leader, was interviewed on an episode of WXXI News Connections With Evan Dawson, “Updates on the Rollout of Legal Cannabis in New York,” about the New York State Office of Cannabis Management’s recent launch of an application portal for conditional adult-use retail dispensary (CAURD) licenses.

To discuss the future of cannabis in New York State, Jason and other guests, including New York State Senator Jeremy Cooney, were interviewed by CITY Magazine reporter Gino Fanelli. They covered topics ranging from the slow rollout of legal cannabis in New York State, the CAURD license application process, zoning maps for dispensaries and consumption lounges in the city of Rochester, and how legislators are working to make sure the NYS cannabis market is equitable, among others.
