Health Care Litigation Associate (Albany, New York City or Rochester) 

Barclay Damon LLP, a leading law firm of nearly 300 attorneys that operates from a strategic platform of offices located in the Northeastern United States and Toronto, is seeking a mid- to senior-level litigation attorney to support its Health Care Controversies Practice Area, which focuses on health care-related litigation and disputed regulatory matters. Residency in Albany or Rochester is preferred.

At least three years of commercial litigation experience with a demonstrated interest in concentrating on health care litigation or prior experience in health care litigation or another highly regulated field, or both, is required. Prior prosecutorial experience or experience in a health care-related field is also a plus. 

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in New York State. Candidates must also have strong verbal, written, advocacy, and interpersonal skills and demonstrate an interest in exposure to client-facing roles on substantial and complex engagements.

Salary range: $125,000 - $155,000

This salary range represents the firm’s good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for the position and does not include performance- or merit-based bonuses or other benefits offered by the firm. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
