Employee Benefits and ERISA Partner (Albany, Boston, Buffalo, New Haven, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse, or Washington DC)

Barclay Damon LLP, a leading law firm of nearly 300 attorneys that operates from a strategic platform of offices located in the Northeastern United States and Toronto, is seeking a partner to represent sophisticated firm clients in all areas of employee benefits law, including qualified retirement plan design and compliance, sponsor and fiduciary risk management, benefit plan documentation, health and welfare benefit plans, ERISA claims and dispute resolution, governmental investigations and audits, and Affordable Care Act compliance. 

The ideal candidate will be able to practice independently in these areas and will be involved in the development and maintenance of client relationships. A portable and growing book of business is highly desired.

New York State range: $150,000 to $300,000 (plus variable compensation, see below).

This salary range represents the firm’s good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of base compensation for the position and does not include performance- or merit-based bonuses including variable compensation or other benefits offered by the firm. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, individual financial performance/contributions, skill set, and office location.
