Commercial Litigation Associate (Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse)

Barclay Damon LLP, a leading regional law firm of approximately 300 attorneys that operates from a strategic platform of offices in Albany, Boston, Buffalo, New Haven, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse, Washington DC, and Toronto, is seeking an associate for its Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials Practice Area to focus on complex commercial and health care–related litigation. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of litigation experience. Prior experience in complex commercial litigation or health care controversy matters will be highly regarded. 

Candidates must be licensed to practice in New York State and have superior verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills along with demonstrated research and writing experience and the ability to thrive in a team environment. This position has room for growth with significant responsibilities that will be appropriate to the attorney’s level of experience.

Salary Range: $115,000 to $145,000.

This salary range represents the firm’s good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for the position and does not include performance- or merit-based bonuses or other benefits offered by the firm. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
