Jeff Andrus focuses his practice primarily on the buying and selling of business, business and tax valuations, business succession planning and complex estate planning. He has almost 30 years of experience in guiding clients in some of the most important aspects of their lives, such as planning for the successful transfer of their businesses and estates. His clients include business of all sizes, from closely held business, partnerships, and limited liability companies to publicly traded companies and sole proprietorships. They range from manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers to service providers. Throughout his career, Jeff has strived to provide practical solutions to complex problems.

Jeff brings a wealth of experience to his practice having previously been an attorney/advisor to a judge at the United States Tax Court and a practicing Certified Public Accountant with a national accounting firm. He has both lectured and written on business and estate planning issues.

  • Participated in sale of national design firm. 
  • Successfully implemented estate plan including sale to a defective grantor trust and grantor retained annuity trust. 
  • Participated in successful negotiation of settlement of substantial real property tax assessment case involving Fortune 500 companies and multiple taxing jurisdictions. 
  • Successfully implemented business succession plan involving self cancelling installment notes. 
  • Successfully negotiated sale of National Hockey League team. 
  • Participated in shareholder litigation involving complex valuation issues. 
  • Participated in sale of national testing laboratory.
