Sheila Gaddis, Danielle Mettler-LaFeir Honored for Excellence in Law
Rochester, New York – June 27, 2014 – Two Hiscock & Barclay attorneys, Partner Sheila A. Gaddis and Associate Danielle E. Mettler-LaFeir, were honored with Excellence in Law awards in Rochester.
The awards were presented June 26 by The Daily Record at the Hyatt Regency in Rochester.
Gaddis, who practices in Hiscock & Barclay’s Health Care & Human Services Practice Area, received an Unsung Legal Heroes award for her work with the Volunteer Legal Services Project. The Unsung Hero award honors individuals who have consistently worked to help those in need, often behind the scenes.
Mettler-LaFeir, who focuses her practice on environmental law, was honored as an Up & Coming Attorney. The award is for attorneys who demonstrate a strong commitment to the legal profession early in their careers. To be considered, nominees must be admitted to the bar for 10 years or fewer.
