Richard Romanchik Joins the Firm
Richard A. Romanchik joins Hiscock & Barclay’s growing Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Area in the Firm’s Rochester office as Counsel.
Romanchik is the former Senior Patent Counsel for Honeywell International, previously known as Hand Held Products, Inc. He possess more than 20 years of intellectual property experience which has included, preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical and mechanical arts; validity and infringement opinions; product and trademark clearances; patent interferences; agreements for licensing, consulting, non-disclosure, development, consortium and technology transfer; government contracts; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; assisting with litigation; trademark and copyright practice; and intellectual property portfolio management.
Romanchik is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a graduate of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and Purdue University. Prior to joining Honeywell International and Hand Held Products, Romanchik was Patent Counsel for several Fortune 500 companies including, Heidelberg Digital, LLC, The B.F. Goodrich Company, IBM and United Technologies Corp.
