Lawrence A. Zimmerman Honored for Pro-Bono Work
Albany, New York - October 28, 2013 - Lawrence A. Zimmerman, Partner at Hiscock & Barclay, LLP, recently received the Brigid Nolan Memorial Award for Pro Bono Services to Victims of Domestic Violence from The Capital District Women's Bar Association Legal Project, a not-for-profit agency that provides a variety of free legal services to the working poor, victims of domestic violence and other people who need legal help.
Zimmerman was recognized for his many years of service as pro bono counsel to a variety of victims of domestic abuse. Zimmerman was also recognized for recruiting other Hiscock & Barclay attorneys to provide pro bono assistance through the Legal Project.
Zimmerman, who was honored at Legal Project’s annual awards lunch Oct. 16 in Latham, practices in the areas of Real Property Tax & Condemnation and Energy in Hiscock & Barclay’s Albany office.
