Karen Southwick Joins Hiscock & Barclay as Associate
Syracuse, New York - January 22, 2014 - Karen S. Southwick has joined Hiscock & Barclay, LLP as an Associate in the Syracuse office.
Southwick, a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law and Ursinus College, will focus on commercial litigation and white collar matters.
She has extensive experience representing individuals in administrative hearings and in U.S. District Courts and U.S. Courts of Appeal. She also served as a confidential law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge George H. Lowe and as a staff attorney for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. In addition, she completed internships with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York and the New York State Attorney General’s Office.
Southwick serves on the Board of Trustees for the Federal Court Bar Association of the Northern District of New York. She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and multiple federal courts across the country.
