Hiscock and Barclay Attorney Michael Oropallo Receives Prestigious Appointments
Hiscock & Barclay, LLP Partner Michael A. Oropallo has been selected to the Panel of Neutrals for the International Trademark Association (INTA). This Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program has been successful in resolving trademark and unfair competition disputes without litigation, and its greatest strength has been the distinguished Neutrals. New York State Bar President Stephen Younger also appointed Oropallo to the Special Task Force for Federal Discovery and Case Management Issues. In addition, Oropallo was appointed Co-Chair of the Patent Law Committee of the Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar Association.
Oropallo, an Auburn resident, has handled the litigation, trial and appeal of complex civil matters for over twenty years and is the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group Leader. While focusing primarily on patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and unfair competition matters, as well as environmental litigation and toxic tort matters, he has a wide breadth of federal and state jury trial experience and regularly counsels clients on litigation and non-litigation alternatives to legal disputes.
