Hiscock & Barclay Welcomes Three New Attorneys

Melissa Bennett, Elizabeth Cominolli and Sanjeev Devabhakthuni have joined Hiscock & Barclay, LLP as Associates in offices across our platform. Bennett will reside in the firm's Albany office and focus her practice in the areas of public finance, corporate law, and financial institutions and lending. Cominolli will be located in the Syracuse office and focus on corporate law matters, with a concentration in trademark registration and licensing. Devabhakthuni will work from the Rochester office primarily on products liability, professional liability, and insurance coverage matters.

Bennett is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo Law School (2011) and the State University of New York at Geneseo (2005). She served as a Student Attorney at the law school's Affordable Housing Clinic and was Editor-in-Chief of the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review and Student Editor of the ABA Journal of Affordable Housing and Community Development Law. Bennett is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law as well as the New York State Bar Association. She was previously an Associate with the Law Offices of Richard A. Glaser, P.C. in Massachusetts.

Cominolli is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law (2010) and Le Moyne College (2007). She served as a Student Attorney at the law school's Community Development Law Clinic and was an Associate Editor of the Syracuse Science and Technology Law Reporter. Cominolli is a member of the New York State Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law Section. Before joining the firm, she was Associate Counsel with PPC.

Devabhakthuni is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University (2010) and West Virginia University (2005). He served on the Editorial Board for the Albany Law Review. Devabhakthuni is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations, and the Young Lawyers Section of the Monroe County Bar Association where he serves as a Volunteer Attorney. Previously he was an Appellate Court Attorney for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department.
