Hiscock & Barclay Welcomes Litigator Joseph Murphy to Albany Office
Commercial litigation attorney Joseph A. Murphy joins Hiscock & Barclay, LLP as an Associate in the Firm’s Albany Office. Murphy has represented clients in a wide range of matters in federal and state courts and agencies, including securities, mergers and acquisitions and contests for corporate control, white collar crime, corporate governance, international litigation, and insurance and energy regulation. He previously worked as Associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf, LLP in Manhattan.
Murphy is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law (J.D., 2007) where he was Executive Articles Editor of the St. John’s Law Review and recipient of the St. Thomas More Scholarship. Murphy is also a graduate of George Washington University (M.A., 1992) and West Virginia University (B.S., 1988).
