Hiscock & Barclay Names John Cook to the Partnership
Hiscock & Barclay, LLP announces the promotion of Syracuse attorney John D. Cook to the position of Partner. Reflecting the Firm’s stronghold in the growth area of Intellectual Property, Cook brings a range of experience to this area of practice.
John Cook focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation and resides in the Firm’s Syracuse office. He has extensive trial and appellate experience in New York courts and federal courts across the country, as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums. Cook represents clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, insurance, energy and utilities, and banking. He is a graduate of Villanova University School of Law and LeMoyne College. He was previously a Law Clerk to the Hon. Howard G. Munson, Senior U.S. District Judge, Northern District of New York.
