Hiscock & Barclay Attorney Gregor Macmillan Appointed to Board of the American Red Cross Blood Services
Gregor Macmillan, Of Counsel in Hiscock & Barclay’s Albany office, was recently appointed to the Board of the American Red Cross Blood Services, New York - Penn Blood Region, which encompasses New York and parts of Pennsylvania. The Board advises the region’s CEO and includes participation in community relations, encouragement of volunteerism, and promotion of Red Cross Blood Services.
Macmillan is a volunteer driver for the Red Cross, transporting blood products to hospitals up and down the Hudson Valley and to a regional Blood Services center outside of Hartford, CT. He is the former Director of the Bureau of Health Insurance Programs in the Division of Legal Affairs for the New York State Department of Health. He provides firm clients with a wealth of experience with New York State health care programs, including audits, fraud investigations, and policy guidance.
