Hiscock & Barclay, LLP attorneys Danielle Mettler and Thomas Paul provided an update on Marcellus Shale and shale gas development in New York, covering prohibited areas and setbacks for drilling as well as other regulatory considerations, at the Monroe County Bar Association’s (MBCA) Regulatory and Case Law Update in January. The Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar, held at the Rubin Center for Education in Rochester, NY, was sponsored by the Environmental Law Committee of the MBCA.
Danielle Mettler is resident in the Firm’s Rochester office and handles a wide array of environmental matters. Her practice involves litigation, transactional, permitting and compliance work under various environmental statutes.
Thomas Paul is an Associate in the Firm’s Syracuse office and concentrates his practice in the area of environmental law, with a focus on renewable energy technologies, carbon capture and storage, and waste cleanup and management.
