Hiscock & Barclay Attorney Laura Mona to be Honored with Pro Bono Award

Albany, New York – October 15, 2014 – Hiscock & Barclay, LLP associate Laura L. Mona will be awarded the Paul J. Curran Award for Pro Bono Service on October 22 by the Prisoners' Legal Services of New York.

The Paul J. Curran award is presented annually to a volunteer attorney who most embodies the late Paul Curran's dedication and commitment to providing pro bono legal services to poor and disadvantaged individuals incarcerated in New York State.

Mona is a member of the firm's Environmental, Energy and Regulatory Practice Areas. Aside from her work within the firm, she devotes time and energy to various pro bono activities for Prisoners' Legal Services and The Legal Project's Domestic Violence Program.
