Hiscock & Barclay Attorney David Cost Receives Award from The Legal Project for Pro Bono Work
The Legal Project of Albany selected Hiscock & Barclay, LLP attorney David Cost for the 2011 Stanley A. Rosen Memorial Award in recognition of the hard work and dedication Cost exemplified in handling a complicated domestic violence case last year as a pro bono clinic volunteer. Rosemarie V. Rosen, Stan Rosen’s widow, assisted in presenting the award at the 16th Annual Pro Bono Reception held at the Hart Theater Lounge at The Egg in Albany in October.
The Legal Project of Albany is a private, non-for-profit agency that works to make the law more accessible to those in need, to increase the legal community’s involvement in pro bono work, and to serve as a resource on legal issues with a special commitment to women who may have difficulty in obtaining legal assistance.
Cost is an Associate in the Albany office of Hiscock & Barclay.
