Heather Sunser Promoted to Partner
Syracuse, New York – January 7, 2014 – Hiscock & Barclay, LLP announces the promotion of attorney Heather L. Sunser to the position of Partner.
Sunser is resident in the firm’s Syracuse office and is a member of the Real Estate, Financial Institutions &Lending, Real Property Tax & Condemnation, and Telecommunications Practice Areas. She was recently recognized as a 2013-2014 Upstate New York Rising Star for Real Estate by Super Lawyers.
Sunser focuses her practice on real estate law, institutional lending and land use and municipal compliance. She has significant experience negotiating and handling real estate acquisitions, sale transactions, and financing on behalf of clients ranging from individuals to small businesses to national corporations and serves as examining counsel for several title insurance companies.
She graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law. She also received her Master’s degree from the State University of New York, College at Oswego and her Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York, University at Albany. Sunser is a member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Initiative and has been a board member of various community groups as well as working as a volunteer attorney for Say Yes to Education, Vera House Legal Clinic, and Habitat for Humanity.
