Barclay Damon Welcomes Back Attorney David Glasel
January 16, 2019––Barclay Damon announces David Glasel, of counsel, has rejoined the firm. The first chair of the Health Care & Human Services Practice Area at Hiscock & Barclay, LLP, one of the two firms that combined in 2015 to form Barclay Damon, Glasel most recently served as chief legal officer at Acacia Network. He will work out of the firm’s Albany and New York offices.
Glasel is a member of the firm’s Health Care & Human Services and Health Care Controversies Practice Areas, where he counsels for-profit and not-for-profit clients on enterprise development; capital financing; project development; certificates of need and licensing; and mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. With over 40 years of legal experience, he uses his deep knowledge of complex governmental regulations, compliance, and organizational management to help health care clients navigate the industry. Glasel additionally handles state and federal surveys and investigations, Medicare- and Medicaid-enforcement investigations, and professional-licensing disciplinary and criminal proceedings.
