Barclay Damon Representing Pipeline Company on New York Project
A national company involved in the transmission and distribution of natural gas is looking to build a 124-mile pipeline, 99 miles of which would be in New York. There are significant regulatory, legal and environmental challenges associated with obtaining approval for the project.
Buried underground, the 30-inch pipeline would stretch across four counties in New York state.
Our attorneys are acting as legal counsel for the company as it applies for authorizations from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, including a certification under Clean Water Act Section 401and approvals for crossing streams and wetlands.
