Firm Helps Utility Handle $500 Million in Infrastructure Upgrades
A large international utility has proposed undertaking a half billion dollars in new construction and upgrades to its electric transmission equipment across Upstate New York. State regulations require such project work to comply with Reliability Rules established by the New York State Reliability Council and be approved by the state Public Service Commission (PSC).
Our attorneys are managing several projects that are part of this $500 million program, including PSC environmental compatibility and public need certification for a critical new power station and associated transmission loops.
